Early Spring Means Hope and Courage

Life is challenging for so many of us, isn't it?

Life on earth isn't Heaven.

I've been using my precious few moments outside to pull some weeds and prune some dead branches.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the signs of life that Spring brings into my yard.  It's been bolstering my soul and speaking hope and courage to me as I walk around my yard praying and reaching out to God.  I know He's here and I know He's busy at work in so many ways that I can't see.

I suppose it takes bravery for these shoots to push through the soil and live again after a long cold winter.  Their tenacity is inspiring me.  I need their hope and courage.

And I'm happy to get it from my own shrubs!
